Research and Development (R&D) is one of the main concerns of the Vice President for Research, Extension, and Business Affairs (VPREBA). It is coordinated by the university's R&D Directorate, which act as the central planning, coordinating, monitoring and implementing unit for R&D activities of the university. College and special/consortia projects are linked to the directorate through College Research Coordinators and project leaders, respectively.
